What is a Domain and Why is it Important?

In the vast landscape of the internet, a domain name is your unique address—like your shop's street address in the real world. Instead of a complex IP address, customers type in your domain name (e.g., mystore.com) to find your online store.

Why is having a custom domain crucial for your Orderain store?

  • Build Brand Authority: A custom domain enhances your brand's credibility and makes your store look more professional than a generic subdomain.
  • Improve Customer Trust: Customers are more likely to trust and remember a store with its own domain name.
  • Boost SEO: Search engines favor websites with custom domains, which can help improve your store's visibility in search results.
  • Marketing Advantage: It's easier to market and promote a store with a memorable and brand-specific domain name.

Now, let's see how you can connect your external domain to your Orderain store and start reaping these benefits!

Tips for a Smooth Domain Connection

  • Double-check the IP address: Ensure you've used the correct Orderain IP address: 103.181.194.5. Typos can prevent connection.
  • Verify DNS settings: After making changes at your domain provider, use online DNS lookup tools to check if the A record for your domain now correctly points to the Orderain IP.
  • Allow time for propagation: DNS changes are not instant. Be patient and allow sufficient time for the changes to take effect globally.
  • Contact Support if needed: If you encounter issues, don't hesitate to contact Orderain's support team or your domain provider's support for assistance.

Stop being a subdomain, start being a brand. Connect your domain to Orderain and watch your online store truly take off!
